The Perfect Cup
The Perfect Cup does make a perfect cup of coffee or tea, and scones, muffins, pancakes, omelets, sandwiches, and more!
Located just over the bridge from Cape Coral into Matlacha, this is our favorite of the area specialty coffee shops.
They roast and grind their own coffee, and make their own blends from the best beans from around the world.
You can sample their blends and enjoy a bottomless cup from the self-service coffee bar.
And their wild-berry scones ....... yowzah yowzah yowzah ....... are very delicious!
Bruce bakes scones daily, they usually come fresh out of the oven at about 10AM and often don't last too long.
We love their jumbo blueberry muffins too and sometimes we have them for lunch or an afternoon snack.
If we do, I always order an iced chai latte and Nikki orders a mocha frappe ......... mmmmmmmm, so good.
If you go for breakfast, you've gotta get Crabby Big Daddy omelet, loaded with crabmeat, asparagus and cheese, make sure you come with a big appetite!
My kids think they have the best pancakes anywhere. For lunch, we like to get the chicken croissant sandwich, it's so delicious with grapes and nuts.
The Cuban Sandwich is also really good and I've had many of there seafood specials. You've got to have their seafood chowder, it's awesome!
There's a lot more on the menu, prices are great, the service is excellent, and everyone is so friendly.
I definitely recommend that you add it to your list of Matlacha restaurants to try. You will make new friends if you go, so get over to Perfect Cup!
