Cape Coral Nightlife

Cape Coral Nightlife brings to you a selection of  bars, sports bars, dancing, comedy, live music, and entertainment.

For a fun night out on the town, we have several tiki huts, swanky waterside joints, and various kinds of bars.

And, because we are a vacation destination, many of Cape Coral's restaurants feature live music and entertainment.

You'll also find places with improv and comedy, karaoke, and open mic nights.  I hear a lot of complaints that you have to go to Ft Myers if you want to whoop it up.  However, with the economy improving, we've had several new bars and restaurants opening up in the downtown section of the South Cape that are especially appealing to the younger and hipper set.

Interesting food and drink can be found at Cork Soakers, Nevermind Bar, and Nice Guys Pizza.

Also in South Cape, is the Dixie Roadhouse,  Southwest Florida's #1 nightclub!

It's a country and western bar and restaurant with country line dancing, and local and national bands for a rip-roaring good time!

If you want to dance to rock, jazz, Motown, oldies, new hits, and more ....... go to Cape Cabaret!  They have live entertainment 5 nights a week with a large dance floor, full dinner menu, with fun dance bands and musicians.

There are plenty of places to go out to that aren't necessarily nightclubs but are a lot of fun.

If you like the country-western style, go to Bubbas Roadhouse on Pine Island Rd for tasty food and live music.

Cape Coral Nightlife doesn't get better than being able to go dining, drinking, and dancing at places on the water.

My 2 favorite spots for that are The Nauti Mermaid at the Westin and the Tiki Bar at Fathoms at Cape Harbour, which you can see in the photo below.

If you don't mind heading over to Matlacha, either by boat or by car, go to Micelis Restaurant for music at their tiki hut right on a canal.

Just up the road a bit, is Island Cafe on the Bay, with live music on the weekend and some of the best water views in the area.

Or to be directly on the water and for a fun night of dancing, go to one of my favorites, Berts Bar for blues and rock played by local bands, eat seafood, or to play pool.

For another Cape Coral sports bar, you should try Woodys for more good food, a tiki hut with live music, and lots of big-screen TV's to watch the game.

Then there's Duffys Sports Grill, the Pickled Parrot, and Water City Grill.

The Paradise Tiki Hut at the Dolphin Key Resort on Del Prado and Miromar serves up drinks, bar food, live music and lots of fun!

Anthonys on the Blvd has comedy nights on Thursdays, either with or without dinner.  They serve Italian and American dishes, seafood, and prime rib everyday!

The O Bar on Del Prado is a membership club with bar and restaurant.   For a small fee to join, you can partake of their 25-cent lunches, $7 steak nights, $8 lobster nights, two-fers for happy hour, karaoke, live music, free birthday drinks ........ and the feeling of being part of a family.

Another idea is to go to Cape Coral bowling alleys for bowling, dinner, and fun at their late night Happy Hours.

Other tiki bars popular with the locals are The Dek and The Monkey Bar and Steakhouse  ....... both are located downtown.

Sports bar Hooters is on Del Prado Blvd, Stevie Tomatoes is on Pine Island, and Backstreets is on SE 47th Terrace.  There are several pool bars, and Rack 'em Billiards on SE 47th Terrace, Hustlers on Santa Barbara Blvd, and Diamond Billiards on Pine Island Rd.

For additional Cape Coral nightlife, many of our city's festivals feature concerts, musical events, and holiday celebrations with dancing, food, and fun.

During season, Cape Coral has pub crawl events and has started a trolley service that can take you to 9 different bars in the downtown area of Cape Coral Pkwy.

It runs Friday and Saturday nights from 7-12PM and costs $2/person for the whole night, and is hosted by the South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association.

East of Ft Myers is the Buckingham Blues Bar, with live music, and Backyard Blues Fests during season.
