The French Press - Mmmmmmm, come for delectable coffees, pastries, sandwiches, and gelato at this waterfront coffee shop!
It used to be called Run Agrounds and was my favorite place to go for the Italian ice cream known as gelato.
I'm happy to report that the new owners have kept many of the same types of items.
They are proud to use organic, sustainable, and fresh ingredients from local growers that are delivered daily for the highest quality product. I love gelato and I particularly love to eat it with a view of the water. The coffee shop is located at Cape Harbour ......... known for it's shops, restaurants, and marina.
You'll find a chic yet relaxed atmosphere inside and cafe tables outside with a view of the boats and yachts docked at the harbor.
Get freshly ground coffee either hot, iced, or blended ....... to-stay or to-go.
Along with regular and decaf coffee, you'll find espresso, cappuccino, mocha, macchiato, Americano, red eye, spiced chai, latte, specialty latte, glace and of course, french press coffees.
A french press is a type of coffee pot that has a plunger made of a fine mesh. The plunger then presses coffee grounds to the bottom of the pot once the coffee is ready to be poured.
You can have flavor shots added or substitute milk for skim milk or soy milk. Tea is available, as well as smoothies made yogurt, ice, and fresh fruits.
For breakfast, you can get bagels, croissants, English muffins, and wraps ...... add eggs, sausage, ham, cream cheese, smoked salmon, and more.
For lunch, get soup, salad, quiche, and sandwiches such as BLT, turkey, or ham. They also serve sweet or savory crepes ....... yum!
French Press believes that you can buy happiness ..... with their gelato, sugar-free gelato, and sorbetto!
It's made fresh everyday and comes served in sugar cones, cups, or waffle cones. Waffle cones are served with choices of drizzle caramel, chocolate, or raspberries and whipped cream.
They are open everyday from 7AM-10PM during season and closed Mondays off-season.
Contact them for catering and booking parties and events. Open Mic nights are Wednesdays from 6:30PM-9:30PM.
