Woodys Restaurant and Island Rum and Grille is a fun neighborhood joint and sports bar that serves up all your favorite American cuisine.
UPDATE JUNE 2018: Woodys Surfside has permanently closed, their Pine Island location is still open.
Looking for casual dining, a place to take the family, great food at low prices ....... and maybe even a place to watch the game?
Well ...... Woodys is the perfect place to go!
It has an island flair with inside and outside dining at the Shops at Surfside on Veterans and Surfside Blvds.
Sit at the bar, at tables scattered throughout the middle of the restaurant ........... or huge booths that fit 8-10 people and have their own TV sets.
If the weather is good, you may want to sit outside under the tiki hut, at the picnic tables with umbrellas, or at the bar to listen to live music.
The first time we went to the restaurant, I had the Backyard Burger, it was cooked to perfection and served with delicious sweet potato fries.
You can choose from a variety of toppings for your burger and I went for the bacon and carmelized onions .......... yum!
My kids loved their Buffalo Chicken Flatbread and California Wrap. The next time I went, I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Bourbon BBQ Sauce and that was equally as good.
Other menu items include appetizers, salads, seafood, ribs, sushi, and more choices of sandwiches, burgers, and flatbreads.
Enjoy craft beers and unique rums while you're watching the game at this Cape Coral sports bar.
There's plenty of room in the main dining room but they also have a private party room in an upstairs loft area.
Woodys has opened up a fish market section in the restaurant where you can purchase the freshest seafood to cook up for yourself.
