Nice Guys Pizza - Go to this Cape Coral restaurant and bar for great pizza, unusual beers, pin ball machines, and a hip vibe!
It's located in a strip mall on Cape Coral Pkwy in the downtown area.
Two narrow rooms make up the eatery .......... one for dining, the other a lounge for drinking.
It's nothing fancy, but it doesn't matter, because there's a cool, fun atmosphere instead.
Seating includes a few tables outside in front, plus tables, high tops, and bar seats inside. We went for the pizza, but you'll also find appetizers, salads, wings, and sandwiches on the menu.
After much discussion, we settled on the Aloha Pizza with ham, bacon, cheese, and pineapple.
Major yum!! I love how much cheese there was on it ..... and the funny thing was, after bringing us our pizza, our server told us to let her know if we wanted more even more cheese on it ........ now that's my favorite kind of pizza place!
We had decided to get dessert instead of appetizers, so we got an order of Fried Oreos and an order of Trash Donuts.
I really liked the OreosI And, my daughter Sophie liked the donuts, which were fried and served with a raspberry sauce for dipping.
The beer menu is huge, with regular listings and extra listings on the giant chalk board behind the bar. Some of these beers have the craziest names such as Well's Banana Bread Beer, Delirium Tremens Wheat Beer, Victory Dirt Wolf IPA, and Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout.
Tables are decorated with vintage magazine clippings and illustrations that are fun to read while waiting for your food.
Wednesday nights are Trivia nights, and plans are in the works for live music.
Carry out is available. For those who like to or have to stay up really late, the kitchen closes at 1:30AM.
Hours are Tuesday - Saturday 4PM-1:30AM, Sunday 4PM-10PM, closed Mondays.
