Gather - Where you can gather together with friends and family for great food, chic ambience, and fabulous water views!
Located at The Cape Coral Westin in the former Melograno site on the shopping promenade ........ this restaurant, salon, and bar has kept some of the previous decor and added a few of their own touches.
The new owners also own the very popular Fathoms as well as The French Press over at Cape Harbour.
Everything on the menu looks intriguing to me and as they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and just-before-midnight snacks ............... I may have to go back again and again!
The bar is streamlined and sexy with contemporary art on the walls on one side of the restaurant.
Next to the bar is a section of leather couches for lounging with drinks and appetizers.
On the other side is the beach-inspired light and airy dining room.
A drink rail with views of the marina flank the one end ............ shelving units with books, liquor, and artwork flank the other end to give you many choices for seating.
You can also sit outside at tables or sofas.
For dinner, I finally decided on the Pan-Seared Snapper with Green Tea Basmati Rice, Tomato thyme Compote, and Curry Coconut Broth. It was amazing!
If you've read other restaurant pages on my website, you know I can't resist Creme Brulee, so I had to order it at Gather.
Be prepared to wait, it is prepared fresh ................ I'm happy to report it's well worth the wait!
Gather is open Sunday, Tuesday - Thursday from 7AM-10PM, and 7AM-12AM Friday and Saturday.
Try their craft cocktails ........... or go for Happier Hour from 2-6PM Tuesday-Friday, and half-price wine on Wednesdays at 4PM.
