Fish Tale Grill - Go to one the best Cape Coral restaurants for great seafood, service, and ambience!

The restaurant is attached to Merrick Seafood Market, located on SE 47th Terrace.

The market features fresh local and northern seafood on a daily basis, and prepared dishes for retail customers along with wholesale seafood.

They've been in business since 1991, offer catering, and presently service over 300 area restaurants and resorts. Merrick's opened up space for lunch in 2013, they were so popular, that they started offering dinner as well.

I had been hearing how good their food is, so we went one night ...... it was packed! During a short wait, we were able to browse all the luscious-looking seafood in the market, which remains open for business during dinner.

The inside part of the restaurant has tables, booths and bar seating in a very chic and contemporary-style bistro. The bar boasts a cool waterfall feature.

There's also plenty of outdoor terrace seating at tables with umbrellas to enjoy the weather and watch what's happening downtown.

We got a table outside, and I couldn't resist ordering the Cranberry Macadamia Sea Bass, topped over orzo in a lemongrass coconut sauce with an edamame salad ........ it was amazing!
