The Crazy Olive

The Crazy Olive is the newest addition to the Cape Coral nightlife and restaurant scene!

UPDATE MAY 2014: Crazy Olive has closed and plans to open at an out-of-town location sometime in the future.

And, I'm so glad because they've got a great restaurant with a casual and contemporary atmosphere which is perfect for families ......... and a fun bar scene with live music for adults.

I like that they have booths ........ booths are more comfy! You can also sit at tables or hightops.

The restaurant is located on Pine Island Rd where Geos Italian Restaurant used to be. The bar is along an outside wall and has a section facing the inside of the dining area and a section facing the outdoor patio where there are plenty of tables and a live band playing most nights.

We decided to sit inside when we went so we could enjoy good conversation along with our meal.

Right after you place your order, crusty Italian bread is served with olive oil and a delicious olive tapenade .......... a tasty accompaniment to your salad.

The menu features appetizers, soups, salads, seafood specialties, steaks and grilled entrees, pasta, sandwiches, pizza, desserts, and crazy drinks.

For the fish specials, I like that you can choose a fish, then a sauce, and finally the way you want it prepared. Then pick 2 sides to go with your entree and you're good to go.

I had grilled tilapia with the citrus beurre blanc sauce and Crazy Olive's house potatoes and fried green beans on the side ........ it was awesome!
