Seven Oaks Restaurant - Wood-fired cuisine at its best! Enjoy pizza, chicken, chops, steaks and seafood cooked to perfection in their wood-fired grill and oven.

They are located in the old Chicago Pizza building on Miramar Street and they've done a great job remodeling .......... the new restaurant is chic and contemporary, yet still retains a comfortable coziness.
The new owners have interesting backgrounds.
Thorsten Stein is a baker, chef and Pizzaiolo who was trained as an authentic Neapolitan pizza-maker ....... and former owner of Cakes, Bakes, and More. Albert Greber was involved in the music industry in Europe and is a renowned Martial Arts Grandmaster.
Their newly remodeled restaurant now has outdoor seating available on a very attractive patio out in front .......... or you can sit indoors at booths, tables, or the bar.
Inside Seven Oaks, modern fixtures mixed in with streamlined decor and rough-hewn wood (that hints at the wood-fired cooking), go well together ........ and you can see the red-tiled oven where all the magic happens peeking through a small window into the kitchen.
I love wood-fired pizza and went very hungry one day to go try them out. I was not disappointed .......... I ordered the Sausage with Red Peppers and Onions pizza and it was delicious!
It was served on a huge plate, with chunks of sausage, squares of gooey mozzarella, and the right amount of peppers and onions.
Also on the menu are salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, and fine-dining entrees such as Filet Mignon, Braised Short Ribs, Mahi Mahi, and Salmon.
All ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality using made-from-scratch recipes.
The owners wanted to create a menu of comfort foods with an international flair.
Their wood fired oven reaches 900 degrees, allowing for an enhancement of the natural flavors of the food.
Beverages include bottled and house red and white wines, along with bottled and draft beer.
They will also open the Seven Oaks Brewery sometime around April 2016, on Lafayette Street behind the restaurant. The brewery will make craft beers, have a tasting room, and serve food from the restaurant.
Hours at Seven Oaks Restaurant are 11:30AM-2:30PM and 4-9PM Tuesday - Friday, and 5-9PM on Saturday.
Live music is played Thursday - Saturday nights. Happy Hour runs from 4-PM Tuesday - Friday.
