In Florida, you will want to have your beach bag packed and ready to go at all times because most every day is either a pool or a beach day!
It's best if it has pockets, but if not, put your sun tan lotion, hat, sunglasses, and any accessories in plastic ziploc bags.
Then, grab a frisbee and you're ready to go! Cape Coral has several stores that have fun beach bags in some really nice shopping areas. - Bird of Paradise - I had to create several beach bags with this flower, it's so unique-looking.
- Hibiscus - You see this pretty flower everywhere in Southwest Florida, and I think it makes for a lovely beach bag design.
- Cape Coral - This design is shows the sails of a sail boat since Cape Coral is such a boating paradise!
- Captiva - When I think of Captiva, I think of the beach and you will love the colors of the beach umbrella with the water and beach on this bag.
As for shopping in town, one of my favorite shops is Carried Away, located in Cape Harbour. Tony stocks all kinds of bags, totes, and purses, as well as other gift items.
The other place we like to shop for cool beach bags are the shops in Matlacha.
There are several shops and galleries, and this is the place to buy unique and one-of-a-kind bags.
Frills has such cute embroidered and sequined bags from India, you will be styling at the beach and even around town!

Check out the stores at the Westin at Marina Village Resort, which carries beach gear, and Islands, also at Cape Harbour.
Of course, the Cape has department stores like Target, Bealls, Kohls, Belks, and JC Penneys, where you can also shop for beach bags.
Another place to go is Ft Myers Beach, there are lots of beach shops in the center of town right off the bridge.
Further south from Ft Myers are several huge malls off of highway I-75: Gulf Coast, Miromar Outlets, and Coconut Point. Naples has several attractive shopping areas.
Up in the other direction is Fishermens Village in Punta Gorda. It has lots of neat shops in an Old Florida style open-air building right on the water.
