Carmine Street NY Pizza and Mussels - Come here for authentic New York Italian pasta dishes and thin, crispy crust pizza!
December 2016 - Carmine's has closed, a new restaurant, Fins, will be opening soon at this location.
I pass by this restaurant everyday on my way to work and wondered if it was any good.
My coworker, who happens to be Italian, recommended it and I decided to give it a try.
I was in the mood for clams one night and arranged to meet up with my parents for dinner.
We sat inside since it was still pretty hot out, but there is a side patio with live music playing and TV's showing sports if you want to eat outside.
The nice thing was that we could still hear the live music even though we were sitting in the dining room furthest from the patio.
There is also a bar area inside if you prefer to sit there. We grabbed a booth and ordered up our dinners.
The garlic knots and pizza bread we were served with our salads were delicious ....... we munched those up pretty quickly!
Loved the clams ........ I had mine with white sauce over linguini ....... yum!
For dessert, we shared a vanilla and cinnamon canoli, and a slice of limoncello cake ......... a tasty end to a great meal!
Carmine Street also serves calzones, heros, and has a raw bar. And, don't forget about their pizza, it's fired in a stone-brick oven to achieve the crispy crust they're known for.
They are the official site in SWFL for the Kansas City Chiefs Fan Club. You can watch their games and all games on 100" TV's.
Carmine Street is pet friendly, offers free Wifi, and does catering. Sign up for their newsletter to receive special deals.
Their hours are Tuesday - Friday from 11:30AM-10PM, and Saturday - Sunday from 12:30-10PM.
