Captiva Pizza, Yogurt, and Gifts - You've got to have pizza at least once while you're vacationing on Captiva Island!
And you'll definitely want to try the gourmet pizzas served here ......... as well as their salads and frozen yogurt.
This Captiva restaurant also has gifts and souvenirs, so you can shop while you wait for your pizza.
They are located in the center of town on Andy Rosse Lane, just past Key Lime Bistro and Captiva Island Inn, upstairs on the second floor of the Celebration Center. Pizza pies come in 10" and 16" sizes, or you can just get slices.
Order specialty pizzas such as Shrimper's Delight with shrimp, basil and pesto or Man Overboard with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, black olives, onions, and mushrooms.
Or build your own from all your favorite meats, 3 choices of cheeses ..... mozzarella, parmesan, or feta plus a choice of 3 sauces .......... marinara, white, or pesto.
We had their Aloha Pie, a Hawaiian pizza with ham, mozzarella, and pineapple ........... yum!
As for the salads, you can order Caesars, Greek, House and other specialties. I think the Captiva Salad sounds delicious .... it's made with shrimp, spinach roasted red peppers, toasted almonds, chopped bacon, and honey mustard dressing.
Sit at one of the cafe tables outside if the weather's nice or if it's too hot, sit inside.
Create your own salad from choices of greens, toppings, cheese, meats, and freshly made dressings.
The frozen yogurt is made by Queenie, famous in Southwest Florida for her amazing homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt.
They had chocolate and vanilla when we went, and you can pick various toppings such as fresh fruit, chocolate chips, sprinkles, granola, and more.
You can get Queenie's equally famous ice cream at Latte Da, the coffee shop across the street.
You can order sodas, teas, waters, lemonade, and beer. Gifts and souvenirs include jewelry, candles, shells, artwork, candy, tee shirts, bags, bath and beauty, and other items.
