South Seas Captiva Dining - Some of the best restaurants on the island are at this fantastic resort!
At the entrance to South Seas, resort guests and the public will be able to dine at the new Doc Fords, where Holy Smokes Barbeque used to be.
Across the street from the resort's entrance is Chadwicks Square shopping center. There's a Starbucks there and you can get deli sandwiches and groceries at Captiva Provision Company.
Within South Seas and for resort guests only are Harbourside Bar and Grill, The Pointe, Scoops and Slices, Sunset Beach Bar, and The Ships Store.
Captiva Provision Company offers coffee, pastries, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, salads, and the yummiest paninis ... plus groceries, fresh produce, to-go meals, wines, beer, and spirits, books, puzzles, cookware, sunblock, candy, and gifts.
My grilled panini was loaded with chicken, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, and provolone!
Shop for your groceries or order them ahead online and have them delivered to your vacation home or boat!
CPC also has a little shop next to South Sea's Sunset Beach Bar where they sell snacks, sunscreen, magazines, and South Seas logo items.
Harbourside Bar and Grill serves a buffet breakfast and dinner in a casual and family-oriented restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
The food is really good and you'll also enjoy views of the marina while you dine.
The next South Seas Captiva dining spot is The Pointe, located at the resort's pool complex and open for breakfast and lunch.
We had delicious croissant sandwiches and wraps for lunch on the day we spent at the pool.
Sit inside where the decor is bright and fresh with a Caribbean flair, outside on the porch, or on the patio if you want to be closer to the pool.
Your kids will like the slushies at the slushy station, you will appreciate the smoothies and drinks at the pool bar.
For a day at the beach at the resort's Northpointe section, go to Attitudes and Latitudes Beach Bar and Food Shack for lunch or dinner.
Located at the beach entrance by the golf course, you can get sandwiches to eat at their snack bar or to bring down to your beach blanket.
It's also got space to the side for a party or a wedding ..... the views of the beach and golf course are marvelous!
Pizza, ice cream, and candy are the specialties at Scoops and Slices, located near the pool complex and decorated in a 50's diner style.
I don't know about you, but I can get tired of eating out and eating too much!
Families can take a break from fancy dining and have a meal or snack at this fun and colorful joint.
Another place to grab a quick and easy meal is The Ships Store, which has a deli with sandwiches and groceries, along with tee shirts, gifts, and souvenirs.
Although there are many terrific Captiva restaurants that you'll want to try while you're on vacation at South Seas, you'll definitely want to go to each of the resort's places.
