Table 209 - You'll find elegance, romance, and delicious food at this Cape Coral restaurant.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2012: Table 209 is closed.

It's located where the popular Morettis Italian Grill used to be on SE 47th Terrace.

The restaurant has been remodeled and the decor lends itself to an intimate dinner for 2 or more ............ with fine linens, low lighting, and fine art paintings on the walls.

You'll be happy to know they've kept the aquarium!

Serving dinner nightly, Sunday brunch, and more recently lunch, you'll find seafood, steaks, chicken and pork dishes all artfully prepared.

Monday nights are special, when the restaurant serves German food ........ I'm looking forward to trying that out!

I really like the ambiance inside but on a lovely night you might want to sit outside on their front terrace.

Only the freshest and seasonal ingredients are used for the dishes on their award-winning menu.

While you wait for your meal warm, crusty warm rolls are served with olive oil and basil.

The selection of appetizers looks very good, but we needed to save room for dessert and you'll find out why in a bit!

My friend Christine enjoyed her pork chops and I really loved their Scallops and Shrimp in a red pepper cream sauce and the yummiest risotto I've ever had.

For dessert, we had to have the German Pancakes ........ which were amazing!

They're soft in the middle, crispy on the outside, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with ice cream ......... mmm mmm good!

Service was excellent and personable. Look for special events at the restaurant.

They are open from 5-10PM for dinner every night, except Tuesday. Lunch is served Monday - Friday from 11AM-2:30PM. Reservations are recommended.
