Del Prado Steakhouse is Cape Coral's fine dining steak restaurant, offering tasty filet mignon, rib eyes, New York strip steaks, and other dishes.
UPDATE JUNE 2016: The Del Prado Steakhouse has closed.
Every now and then I get a craving for a good piece of steak.
Del Prado has comfortable seating in booths or at tables are in a cozy and attractive dining room with friendly and attentive service.
Now, for the food ......... and Cape Coral diners won't be disappointed! The restaurant serves the highest quality Argentinian steaks.
My favorite steaks are Rib Eye, New York Strip, and Filet Mignon. Along with the those steaks, the Del Prado also serves sirloin, porterhouse, mixed grill, and rack of lamb.
But start with some of their appetizer selections, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, and escargot, some fo my favorites!
Dinners include choice of soup or salad, veggie of the day and either baked potato, french fries, home fries, or au gratin potatoes ...... my favorite ....and bread, of course!
You can also get seafood, pork chops, Wiener Schnitzel, and Stroganoff.
As you can see, the menu is somewhat influenced by the restaurant's German owners.
Chicken fingers, spaghetti, and a small strip steak are on their special kid's menu.
We like to go for the Early Bird Specials from 4-6PM, where many of the dinners are half-priced.
Chef's Specials include combination plates like Surf and Turf, and more.
They speak German, Bosnian and Spanish at the restaurant.
Even though it was quiet when we went, I've heard it can get pretty busy. To make reservations, call the restaurant. To get more information go to their website:
