La Terraza 47 - serving tasty traditional Spanish and Mexican dishes along with live music and dancing in the heart of downtown Cape Coral.

UPDATE MARCH 2013: I've just heard that La Terraza has new owners and is now called Cape Coral Arena ...... for games, sports, and fun. For now, they're open Friday and Saturday nights. I'll keep you posted. T

The restaurant is close to Cape Coral hotels and nightlife. Not only that, they feature live music and Spanish dancing to put you in a festive mood.

The live music is played on Wednesday nights starting at 6PM, and Saturday nights starting at 8PM, and lasting until 10PM both nights.

Otherwise, you can enjoy Spanish music while you dine.

Mexican food is one of our absolute favorites, and when we go to La Terraza, we like to sit outside.

For starters, try the Spanish appetizers known as Tapas ...... the selection includes empanadas, pizza, shrimp, chicken croquets along with soups, salads, Paella, and grilled specials.

You will also find on the menu all your Mexican favorites such as enchiladas, fajitas, chimichangas, quesadillas, and tacos.

Or, sit inside Terraza's festive dining room, choose from comfortable booths or cozy tables.

The restaurant's house special is half of a fried chicken topped with a western sauce, and served with pickles and a baguette.

Early Bird specials are served between 5-6:30PM from a limited menu.

During season, you can enjoy watching Flamenco dancing while enjoying your meal.

There's plenty of room to salsa, rumba, tango, and samba on the large dance floor right next to the bar!

After the live music, they have dance parties on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 10PM. Saturday nights feature a fire dancer and laser show.

Ladies can enjoy free vodka daily from 5-8PM outside on the patio bar.

A limited menu of snack foods is served during the dance parties plus sangria, margaritas, mojitos, caipirinhas, and a selection of tequilas, rum, beer, wines, and other spirits.
