Cape Coral Florida Newspaper - The Daily Breeze covers the news you need to know in online and print versions.

The Breeze also publishes a buying guide called the Lee County Shopper.

Another choice is the News-Press, a Ft Myers newspaper, which has a section specifically for Cape Coral, and also comes in online and print versions.

Have your paper delivered or pick one up in various locations about town.

They're sold in supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops, and on the street.  Or, you can just look for the brightly colored news boxes dotted around the city like the ones in the picture below:

The Daily Breeze

The Daily Breeze was first published in 1961 by Dick Crawford, one of the pioneer residents of Cape Coral.

News of weddings and births were on the single page of the first edition.

Now, the paper comes out 3 times per week and covers local news; as well as Florida, national, and international headlines.

Along with local news, you will find coverage of business, sports, weddings, obits, a seniors section, editorials and blogs, tourism, church directory, calendars, real estate, and community information.

Jack Glarrow, publisher of the Cape Coral newspaper says, "Our goal is to be the primary provider of local information for Cape Coral."
