Gator Bites, Issue #050 - Cape Coral Restaurants and Breakfast
December 06, 2015
Get Ready to be Hungry!
Summer continues in Cape Coral with all the unusually warm weather we've been having. We've also had some of the gloomy days we often get in December, but they clear up pretty quickly to lots of sunshine!
In this issue, I start reviewing several of the new restaurants that have recently opened up in the Cape plus one that's been around for a long time out on Sanibel.
Water City Grill serves up great food in a Cape Coral-themed bar and restaurant, located in the old Wine and Roses building on Cape Coral Pkwy.
The Pickled Parrot is a comfy, casual neighborhood-style restaurants and bar on Santa Barbara Blvd, with low prices, large portions and delicious food.
Two fun, new sports bars have come to town: Overtime Sports Bar and Pizzeria and Duffys Sports Grill.
These are the places to go with groups of friends or family to watch your favorite teams play and to enjoy pub food at low prices.
The next 2 restaurants serve breakfast: Melograno at the Westin is high-end, and Perk and Brew at Origins Coffee's old location on Cape Coral Pkwy is casual.
Both serve lunch and dinner as well.
Island Cow on Sanibel is a fun place to take the kids. Their prices are relatively low, the food is good, and the atmosphere is casual.
Merry Christmas, Florida-style!
Festivals and events for the next 2 months:
Don't forget to check out my soaps and scrubs at Coastal Island Creations, I'm currently selling at the Sunset Celebration, first Wednesdays of the month from 4-7PM at Yacht Club Beach and Sunset Farmer's Market at Surfside Shops on Tuesdays from 2-7PM.
My next newsletter will come out the beginning of February.
I'd like to recommend my Site Sponsors:
George Patton and Associates is the best realtor! He found me my place, which I absolutely love. Several of my Come-to-Cape-Coral readers have used him, and he's been able to find them homes too.
Archer Airboat Tours offers airboat tours out of Matlacha. You haven't really been to Florida until you've gone airboating, it's so much fun!
Bayview Bed and Breakfast is a delightful waterfront inn on the Cape Coral side of Matlacha. Relax, enjoy nature, go canoeing and kayaking, and check out area boutiques and galleries.
Heart and Soul Therapy Massage and Day Spa offers massage, reiki, and salon services with the best prices in Cape Coral.
Island Cafe on the Bay serves up mouth-watering food, live music, and amazing waterfront views!

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:
Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.
Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.
Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.
Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
