Gator Bites, Issue #050 - Cape Coral Restaurants and Breakfast December 06, 2015 |
Hi Get Ready to be Hungry!Summer continues in Cape Coral with all the unusually warm weather we've been having. We've also had some of the gloomy days we often get in December, but they clear up pretty quickly to lots of sunshine! In this issue, I start reviewing several of the new restaurants that have recently opened up in the Cape plus one that's been around for a long time out on Sanibel.
Water City Grill serves up great food in a Cape Coral-themed bar and restaurant, located in the old Wine and Roses building on Cape Coral Pkwy.
The Pickled Parrot is a comfy, casual neighborhood-style restaurants and bar on Santa Barbara Blvd, with low prices, large portions and delicious food.
Two fun, new sports bars have come to town: Overtime Sports Bar and Pizzeria and Duffys Sports Grill.
These are the places to go with groups of friends or family to watch your favorite teams play and to enjoy pub food at low prices.
The next 2 restaurants serve breakfast: Melograno at the Westin is high-end, and Perk and Brew at Origins Coffee's old location on Cape Coral Pkwy is casual.
Both serve lunch and dinner as well.
Island Cow on Sanibel is a fun place to take the kids. Their prices are relatively low, the food is good, and the atmosphere is casual.
