Gator Bites, Issue #044 - Go RVing!
December 09, 2014
Hi

Matlacha, Carmine Street, Gramma Dots, Fathoms, RVing

The weather has been a mix of beautiful days and some gloomy ones. I have been able to have my windows open, and had them open today ...... love that fresh air!

For those of you who have already had snow, think about coming down to Cape Coral .... as a matter of fact, I built a page about RVing as an idea for an affordable option for snowbirding, vacationing, or retirement.

I also built pages about Matlacha, and several restaurants.

If you haven't been to the artsy island of Matlacha yet, you've got to go! It's a tiny island next to Cape Coral with cute and colorful shops, galleries, and vacation homes.

The Joint, one of my favorite restaurants, has changed hands and is now called Fathoms. The new owners have kept many of The Joint's dishes and added many of their own. They still feature delicious food, a new yet chic decor, and those great views of Cape Harbour Marina.

I also went to Carmine Street NY Pizza and Mussels, a place I drive by when I go to work. Go for their Italian cuisine, pizza, and live music.

Gramma Dots on Sanibel Island has been serving fresh seafood to locals and tourists for many years. You can't beat their location at the Sanibel Marina, you can come by boat or by car!

Last but not least, I built a page about RVing in Florida, with photos and information about sales, rentals, resorts, and storage.

Pic 'O the Month

This is what welcomes you to Matlacha!

I've updated these pages:

1) Cape Coral Nightlife - I've added photos of The Tiki Hut and The Monkey Bar.
2) Florida Wildlife - I added a video I took of an anhinga swallowing a fish whole that you've got to see!
3) Marina Village Shopping - I've added photos from the new Gallery 928, where they are showing artwork from Jackson Pollock, Salvador Dali, Picasso, and more!

Festivals and events for the next 2 months:

Bike Night

Christmas Boat Parade

Cape Coral Festival of the Arts

My next newsletter will come out the beginning of February.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
Tammy

I'd like to recommend my Site Sponsors:

George Patton and Associates - Real Estate - George is the best! He found me my place, which I absolutely love. Several of my Come-to-Cape-Coral readers have used him as well, and he has been able to find them homes too.

Archer Airboat Tours offers airboat tours out of Matlacha. You haven't really been to Florida until you've gone airboating, it's so much fun!

Bayview Bed and Breakfast is a delightful waterfront inn on the Cape Coral side of Matlacha. Relax, enjoy nature, go canoeing and kayaking, and check out area boutiques and galleries.

Stellar Business Funding provides cash advances, short term loans, equipment leasing, and credit card processing for small businesses.

Remember:

Sunset Celebration the first Wednesday of the month.

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:

Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.

Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.

Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.

Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
