Gator Bites, Issue #035 - Fords Garage, Cape Coral Hurricanes, Updates, and my new business!

There Are Hurricanes in Cape Coral!

I decided to give myself a bit of a break and put out one issue of Gator Bites for June and July. I had been planning on going out to Sanibel this summer and starting a website about the island, but things totally changed. I was invited to partner with a friend of mine in her business, and to build us a website. So, that's what I've been doing for the last few months ..... but more about that later!

The weather remains hot and humid ........ no hurricanes in sight, except for ........



....... the Cape Coral Hurricanes, our very own professional soccer team! I finally made it to a game, I'd been trying to go since May.

Home games are played at Cape Coral High School, and there's one last chance to see them before their season wraps up till next March. Do you love soccer, make sure you get out to support the team!




Fords Garage, which is located in downtown Ft Myers, has just opened a new location in Cape Coral, where Leapin Lizard used to be and I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the change. They've got amazing burgers, craft beers, and a fun, party atmosphere which celebrates Ford cars since Henry Ford made his summer home in Ft Myers next door to Thomas Edison. You've got to go .... try their onion rings too!



I had a chance to make updates to some pages. We went back to Lobster Lady to try their breakfast(see pic above), to Brew Babies to hear some live jazz (see pic below).



I also took some photos of Vineyard Community Church now that their remodeling is done.

We went to a new breakfast place called House of Omelets, on Pine Island Rd, but I didn't build a page because we weren't impressed.
