Gator Bites, Issue #039 - Feeling Crabby?!
February 15, 2014
Hi

Pinchers Crab Shack, Ding Darling, Bunche Beach

Hello everyone, I feel like it's been a long time since I've written to you. I'm about to become a grandmother for the first time and am quite excited!

Because of that and also because I've just started a new full-time job, I will be sending out Gator Bites every 2 months. I may be able to send out monthly issues again at a later date .... we'll see. :)

We've had some rainy days, but believe me, I'm not complaining! The weather has been beautiful the last few days ..... in the 70's, sunny, and with low humidity.

I had a chance to try one of Cape Coral's new restaurants, Pincher's Crab Shack, and built a page about it along with pages about the Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve, and Bunche Beach in Ft Myers.

Pinchers Crab Shack serves up delicious seafood in a fun and tropically-themed restaurant located at the Westin Marina Village.

Sit outside on the terrace so you can watch the boats going by.

Sanibel Island has the lovely Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve where you can take a leisurely drive, bike, or walk through and stop at various points to observe the wildlife such as birds, fish, dolphins, manatees, and alligators. Don't forget your camera!

Go to my Ft Myers Beaches page, and scroll down to see the new section about Bunche Beach, which is located between the island of Ft Myers Beach and the Sanibel Causeway. It's totally different than Ft Myers Beach, and ........

..... you can go kayaking there, either through the mangroves, or out to the Gulf of Mexico!

Pic 'O the Month

I snapped the picture of this cute little blue heron Ding Darling National wildlife Preserve!

You can also see White Pelicans, Anhingas, Roseate Spoonbills, and many more Florida birds.

My next newsletter will come out in April. If you're up north and fed up with winter, come on down! I hope you all had a Happy Valentine's Day.

Stay warm,
Tammy

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:

Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.

Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.

Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.

Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
