Gator Bites, Issue #061 - Outer Islands, Downtown Fort Myers, Aquamarina Jewelry
August 27, 2017
Hi

Outer Islands, Fort Myers, Jewelry

As I'm writing this issue it is absolutely POURING outside! This is the third day, with one more to go, of heavy rains as an effect from Tropical Storm Harvey.

The lake behind my house is creeping higher and higher towards my lanai ... it's the highest it has ever been, yikes! There has been a lot of flooding, and many side streets are littered with abandoned cars that got stuck.

Because of this storm, I've added locations on my About Hurricanes page as to where Lee County residents can get sandbags. You may also want to reread the page in case we get more severe weather.

This summer, I had more time to go have fun with friends, so I built pages about a boat ride to the Outer Islands and a page about Downtown Fort Myers. I've also expanded my soap business and am now making beach glass jewelry.

Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, and Useppa are some of the outer islands off of Cape coral and Pine Island. Each one is so different and worth exploring. I even got to eat the famous "Cheeseburger in Paradise!

Downtown Fort Myers is so much fun! There are so many great restaurants ..... along with boutiques, art galleries, and various cultural events that need to be experienced.

I just started making and selling jewelry made from beach glass, pearls, shells, coral, and stones at the farmers markets along with my soaps, etc. I love these natural materials and am really loving beach glass in sea blues and greens. Check out my Aquamarina Jewelry page!

My next newsletter will come out in October.

Fall is on its way, but summer will still be here in Cape Coral!

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:

Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.

Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.

Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.

Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
