Gator Bites, Issue #072 - A Piece of Paradise
March 31, 2020
Hi

A Piece of Paradise

Hello everyone! It probably seems like it's been awhile since we've been out and about for enjoyment and socialization. Here in SW Florida, our beaches and restaurants are closed due to Covid-19. Our farmers markets are also closed to vending crafters like me but still open to produce and food vendors.

In this issue, I feature a little bit of paradise to hopefully brighten your day as you isolate and stay at home. To any of you who are healthcare workers, thank you for all that you are doing!

I finally made it to Siesta Key, a barrier island located off the coast from Sarasota, and considered one of the nicest beaches in the United States ... and it was beautiful!

There are three main beaches along with residential neighborhoods and shops and restaurants.

You'll love the soft powdery white sand and aquamarine gulf waters that go on for miles.

On the way home, I stopped at Laishley Crab House in Punta Gorda for some delicious seafood.

As you can see, I had scallops for dinner. If and when you can go, there's a lovely view of the water whether you're dining inside or out.

At the moment they are still open but for take-out only.

For a bite to eat near the water without the hassle of traffic on Sanibel or Fort Myers Beach, head over to the Bimini Bait Shack.

They are located at the last exit just before you go over the Sanibel Causeway. You can dine on seafood from their second floor restaurant with water views and an open air feeling from the balcony surrounding the dining area.

The indoor dining has a fun tiki hut decor and live music.

They are currently open to healthy diners only, with options for drive-thru pick-up and delivery.

My next newsletter will come out in June. :)

Be safe, healthy and well. Tammy

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:

Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.

Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.

Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.

Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
