Hi from Tammy at come-to-cape-coral.com,
We had the pleasure of staying at
last weekend, Cape Coral's new luxury resort.
We stayed in a studio, which had 2 double beds, a small kitchenette with fridge, nice bathroom, and screened-in balcony with fantastic views. The room did have that feeling of luxury, and we were also very comfortable.
The food was absolutely delicious at both restaurants, Marker 92 and The Nauti Mermaid. We had their Sunday brunch, which had many tasty selections, and we ordered a delicious breakfast from room service.
You can sit inside or out, and live music is played on the weekends. It's also nice to sit out by the fire pit.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and it was nice to be able to swim at night.
Marina Village has a complimentary boat taxi to Ft. Myers beach. The ride was very pleasant and took maybe 30-40 minutes. We got on the boat at 10AM and got back on the boat at 2:30 to come back to the hotel.
We also did their dolphin cruise and saw lots of dolphins! They also have sunset cruises, kayak and boat rentals.
A few shops and boutiques have opened in the Promenade, and they have an award-winning spa.
It's a great place for a romantic getaway or for a family vacation in Florida.

Next month: We are planning a fishing trip, we've never really fished before!
