Gator Bites, Issue #021 - Family Fun Time!
May 04, 2012
Hi

Four Places to Take the Family

This past month, I've been hard at work doing an audit to my website - which now has 200 pages - and I'm halfway done ..... whew!

I've been making some changes and improvements and hope to make your reading and researching better and easier.

One thing I'm doing is adding a section to the bottom of each page called Related Pages .......... it's a list of links to other pages on my website that relate to the page you are reading.

Another thing is a Return to Top link at the bottom of each page.

I noticed that many of my links were messed up ........ major ooooops! So, I'm checking each one so you won't get that Sorry, no URL page window.

Viva Cape Coral is tomorrow, 5/5/12, so head over for some Cinco de Mayo festivities if you're here. I'm looking forward to some latino and Caribbean food and music!

Kayaking at Cape Coral Eco Park closes down for the season 5/27/12, so get over there!

School is out in 3 weeks ...... yay! This month's newsletter features pages about some fun places to take the kids and the young-at-heart.

Spring Training Baseball is over and it's now time for Ft Myers Miracle Baseball at the Minnesota Twins Hammond Stadium.

Every night has something different going on, with selected discounts, games, and prizes.

Watch our local team, it's a lot of fun, can you spot a future star?!

Pass the hot dogs and the peanuts ...... batter uuuuuuuuup!

Cape Coral has a new beach! It's at Four Freedoms Park off of Cape Coral Pkwy on Bimini Basin.

It's got soft, white sand and is for sun tanning, toe dipping, and picnicking. There's also a playground, grassy play area, recreation building, and Ice Sssscreamin Ice Cream!

Do you like to bowl? Nicole and I went to both Cape Coral Bowling alleys and had a blast!

They have open bowling, leagues ...... one of which is going on a Caribbean cruise ...... glow bowls, specials, food, and music.

Looking for something to do? Go to Bowland's Coral Lanes off of Santa Barbara or HeadPiz, the former Friendship Lanes, on Del Prado.

The Shell Factory in North Ft Myers has tons of shells, clothing, jewelry, gifts, toys, Christmas shop, bags, candles, fudge ..... you name it, they've got it!

You could spend the day here, they've also got mini golf, bumper boats, paddle boats, a restaurant, dog park, and a nature park with exotic animals, birds, and reptiles.

Pic 'O the Month

Everyone seems to be fascinated with alligators, so I have a photo I took of the gators at The Shell Factory.

Have Happy May and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!
Tammy

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:

Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.

Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.

Once you figure out the 3 places, email me from my Contact Me page and I will send you a password to a secret page with more information about buying real estate here in Cape Coral.

Have fun.......if you need help -> Contact Me
