Bayview Bed and Breakfast
Bayview Bed and Breakfast is in Matlacha, where dolphins play, and is a delightful place full of charm.
Are you looking for Cape Coral lodging that is right on the water?
A Bayview has four lovely rooms with a view of Matlacha Pass that is just gorgeous.
The B&B is located on the Cape Coral side of the bridge onto the island of Matlacha, this bridge happens to be the most "fishingest bridge" in the world.
Tarpon, grouper, snook, redfish, and mackerel ....... the fishing is terrific in this area of SW Florida, and so is the kayaking, canoeing, and boating.
It is so pleasant here, I know you will enjoy it, it's the perfect place to unwind!
If you are coming by boat, just dock it at one of the two piers.
And while you stay at Bayview, you must use their canoes because there is so much wildlife to watch and enjoy.
We saw two baby dolphins playing and all of a sudden, a big dolphin came cruising by and chased them all around!
We also sawmanatees, mullet jumping, ibises, anhingas, and there's an osprey nest right next to the back porch.
Rooms have kitchenettes and our room had a queen bed and pull-out queen sleeper couch, we thought it was very cozy.
Check out the video of our room:
Three of the four rooms have sitting areas on the back porch, the fourth room has a patio space.
Tables and chairs are set up to enjoy meals outside.
We had our breakfast served on the porch and it was delicious, with locally grown pineapple and mango slices, along with English muffins, cereal, and cookies ........ or have it brought to your room so you can have breakfast in bed.
After breakfast, take a walk, sit on the pier, or take the canoes out.
This next video shows you the view of the water from the backyard and as you can see, the canoes are easy to pull right into the water:
It is peaceful and quiet at Bayview Bed and Breakfast, yet it is close to shops, restaurants, and art galleries that you will want to explore.
And let's not forget about the gorgeous sunsets!
Bill and Diane are friendly and gracious hosts, they are happy to share all they know about the area and help in any way.
