Gator Bites, Issue #014- Yacht Club Beach, Spas and September 30, 2011 |
Hi Yacht Club Beach, Spas, Coupons, and Mug SaleI can't believe October is upon us. It's starting to cool down a bit, we are starting to get highs of 88 degrees, down from 92. We've also been having lots of sun showers lately, where it's raining and sunny at the same time ........ kinda cool! So here's the latest: for starters, I finished building several pages about Yacht Club Beach.
I love our cute little beach and if you haven't been to the Sunset Celebration yet, pack a picnic and get on down there on the first Wednesday of the month for music and entertainment, a craft show, walks and swimming, and gorgeous sunsets: Our beach is a fun place to go to while boating or for group parties. This page tells you all about it: The Yacht Club is more than a beach ..... there is also a ballroom, pool, senior center, tennis courts, marina, and boat launch: If you go to Yacht Club Beach, plan to eat at KCs River Stop, the food is really good!
I'm always on the lookout for great ribs and Bubbas Roadhouse doesn't disappoint. I hear they have great steaks too! I also put up a page for Cape Coral Coupons that you should check out so you can save at restaurants, shops, activities, spas, and more.
Speaking of spas, I put up a Cape Coral Spas and Salons page and a page about one of the salons I like, Cre8 Salon. Your kids will want to relax and rejuvenate at Sunsplash Family Waterpark, it's so much fun! I know, I goofed, I should've gotten the page up earlier because it's closed for the season till March. I planned several times to get there this summer but the weather didn't cooperate. We didn't have any hurricanes this year but we did have those afternoon showers and storms that are typical of Cape Coral Weather. I added to the weather section with 2 pages about Water Twisters and Brush Fires ......... read them, I have some interesting stories and photos! Looking for interesting and unique gifts for Christmas? Get started on your shopping early by going to NikkiB Photographs and order Cape Coral photos as prints or on mugs, tee shirts, aprons, coasters, puzzles, notecards, and so many other items. All photographs are taken by my very talented daughter Nicole. We are having a sale on the mugs this month, she has taken $2 off of the 2 11oz and 15oz styles. Mugs are now $13, $14, and $16 for the month of October........ bear in mind that she only makes between $5-10 on most of the items she sells.
