Sanibel, Stars, and Fish Art

Hello everyone!

Summer is here and so are temps on the 90's, high humidity, and daily afternoon storms.

We still get lots of sunshine though, and pleasant breezes while hanging out at the pool or beach.

This issue features: Dining at The Jacaranda, Star Gazing at the observatory at the Charlotte Campus of Florida Southwestern State College, and Palm Frond Art made by a friend of mine.

The Jacaranda is a beloved restaurant on Sanibel for casual fine-dining. Sit inside with views of the patio garden, or outside ... either way, you'll enjoy good food, music, and service.

Go Star Gazing at the James and Barbara Moore Observatory at FSW in Punta Gorda.

We saw the moon, Jupiter, Mars, and more! I include information about this monthly event put on by the SWFL Astronomical Society.

My friend, Dale Werner, creates wonderful Palm Frond Art! his themes include fish, American eagles and flags, retro looks, and more. Dale also paints wall murals of tropical and beach scenes so you can have a whole wall of art in your home or business.
