Gator Bites, Issue #053 - Shoot for the Stars!
June 18, 2016
Sanibel, Stars, and Fish Art
Summer is here and so are temps on the 90's, high humidity, and daily afternoon storms.
We still get lots of sunshine though, and pleasant breezes while hanging out at the pool or beach.
This issue features: Dining at The Jacaranda, Star Gazing at the observatory at the Charlotte Campus of Florida Southwestern State College, and Palm Frond Art made by a friend of mine.
FYI - I'm in the process of changing the name of my soap company to Salt + Sea Soaps. For now, you'll find all Salt + Sea Soaps info on my Coastal Island Creations page.
The Jacaranda is a beloved restaurant on Sanibel for casual fine-dining. Sit inside with views of the patio garden, or outside ... either way, you'll enjoy good food, music, and service.
Go Star Gazing at the James and Barbara Moore Observatory at FSW in Punta Gorda.
We saw the moon, Jupiter, Mars, and more! I include information about this monthly event put on by the SWFL Astronomical Society.
My friend, Dale Werner, creates wonderful Palm Frond Art! his themes include fish, American eagles and flags, retro looks, and more. Dale also paints wall murals of tropical and beach scenes so you can have a whole wall of art in your home or business.
Instead of Pic 'O The Month, I will now be offering coupons for my soaps, scrubs, and other products!
Either make a copy or take a picture of the coupon with your phone camera and present it to me at the Farmer's Market.

I apologize for getting this issue out so late, it's because I have a lot of family stuff going on ...... Good: I'm about to become a grandma again any day now. :) Bad: My mother is very ill, prayers are much appreciated. :(
Hope all is well, my next newsletter will come out the beginning of August.

For those of you who have read Weird Cape Coral, but haven't found the treasure yet, here are some hints:
Look for 3 places in the ebook where it says "treasure" in blue. Click on it, because each is a link to one of 3 pages on my website.
Each page is a place that I think is a treasure in Cape Coral.
