Papa Joes is a Cape Coral Italian restaurant that serves good, simple, affordable food, and delicious pizza.
Mmmmmmmmm ...... spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, chicken parmesan, and all your favorite pasta dishes.
I'd driven by it so many times on Cape Coral Parkway, and it looked very inviting, so we decided to give it a try.
They have a nice little terrace out front with lots of greenery and a few tables for cafe dining.
Inside, the restaurant is small but cozy. I first heard about Papa's from friends who go there regularly, particularly for their specials.
Early Bird specials are a bargain, starting at $6.95, including salad and bread, and are served from 4-6.
The bread is awesome, I think it's made from pizza dough and is loaded with garlic and parmesan cheese.
There is a large selection of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes with chicken, veal, or seafood.
House specialties include Chicken Marsala, Chicken and Broccoli, Chicken Francese, and Chicken Maria ........ chicken breast lightly breaded and sauteed and then baked with tomatoes, cheese, and wine ......... doesn't that sound delicious?
More specialties are Pasta or Tortollini Alfredo, Eggplant or Lasagne Rollatini, Baked Spaghetti or Cavatelli.
Prime Rib is served Saturday night.
We definitely want to go back and try the pizza, we've heard it's pretty good ........ it looked yummy!
So, if you like eating out at the local hang-outs, add Papa Joe's to your list of Cape Coral restaurants to try.
They are conveniently located near downtown hotels and shopping.
