Mexico Lindo - Cape Coral's newest Mexican restaurant serves up good food, attentive service, and a fun atmosphere!
They are located on Del Prado in the building that was once occupied by the Del Prado Steak House.
A remodeling has updated and transformed the restaurant into a bright and colorful space decorated with pretty Mexican tiles, perfect for enjoying all your favorite Mexican dishes.
There are two dining rooms with booths and tables, along with a bar room and dining area at the front of the house. When we went, it was packed and very busy ....... and since we were seated in the bar room, we were right in the center of the action.
Despite the noise of the crowd, the sound of sizzling fajitas, and the scurrying servers, we had a delicious meal.
We ordered guacamole for appetizers and I was so pleased because our server prepared it right at our table ...... you can't get fresher guacamole than that!
And, it was good ....... so good we ate it up in no time flat with yummy corn chips and salsa.
When I dine out, I like to order seafood or something I normally wouldn't have at home.
This night, seafood won out ........I ordered the Shrimp Chimichanga, it was topped with sour cream and served with rice and beans. Mmmmmmm.
I love Mexican food, but not when it's too spicy ........ and Mexico Lindo didn't disappoint. I though my food was seasoned just right ....... I could actually taste all the flavors of shrimp, tortilla, lime, cilantro, and sour cream.
Also on the menu are: Quesadillas, Tacos, Burritos, Fajitas, Tamales, Enchiladas, Molcajetes, Cile Rellenos, seafood and specialty dishes, and more.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, Sunday - Thursday from 11AM-9PM, Friday and Saturday from 11AM-10PM.
