Leapin LizardLeapin Lizard is a Cape Coral restaurant and bar, with live music and good food in a Florida beach-joint setting. I always wanted to try this bar and grill because it is one of the first places you see when you come over the Cape Coral Bridge from Ft Myers.You can't miss it, the building is painted in bright colors, with lizards all over it, and open walls. An outdoor porch has tables for diners circling around the bar.
We really enjoyed the band which played country and rock music, but if you are looking to have intimate conversation during dinner ....... well, that's another reason to sit inside.
There is a huge selection of appetizers, steaks and seafood, Mexican dishes, sandwiches, flat bread pizzas, salads, fried-food baskets, ribs, and a raw bar. You will also find a kid's menu and a few dessert selections. I had a delicious Surf and Turf with scalloped potatoes and Nicole had the chicken tenders basket, both very good.
