Dixie Roadhouse

Dixie Roadhouse is Cape Coral's country and western dance club, so break out your cowboy boots and kick up some fun!

Voted best nightclub in SW Florida, Dixie is popular with boot-scooters of all ages, from 21 to 65, and is a welcome addition to Cape Coral night life.

You won't find rowdiness at this most popular of local nightclubs, instead, there's a mix of ages having a good ole time.

The staff was so friendly, and our partners were perfect gentlemen as we stepped under the colorful dance hall lighting, trying to learn how to do country line dancing.  It's a lot of fun ........ but, how do they remember all those steps?!

We took advantage of their free line dance lessons, offered at 7:30PM and 8:30PM Wednesday - Saturday, which you can see in the video below:

On Fridays, from 9-11PM, a DJ from Cat Country 107.1 country radio station broadcasts live from Dixie Roadhouse and the club starts to get packed with line dancers.

We joined them and were able to figure out the steps for a few of the simpler dances and got totally lost with many more!

It didn't really matter because we were cracking up and having a good time anyway.

You can order food such as pizza, calzones, dinner specials, and snacks, which are delivered from Paradise Pizza of Cape Coral right to Dixie.

Dixie is open from 7PM-2PM Tuesday - Saturday. Look for drink specials during the daily Power Hour of 10-11PM. Drinks cost only a quarter on Tuesday nights from 7-10PM. Wednesday is Ladies Night, with no cover charge all night long.

Even though you pay a $5 cover charge, you receive $5 worth of chips to redeem at the bar, so you basically get in for free.

At 11PM, they play the Cotton Eye Joe dance, where everyone pairs up in a circle and dances around in a ring.

We figured out the steps pretty quickly and finished off the night kicking it up country-style.

Then the DJ switches to a mix of rock, retro, dance, and top-40 dance music and a whole new crowd comes in to dance the night away.

Country night clubs know how to throw a party, so think of Dixie for birthdays, anniversaries, fundraisers, and corporate events.
