Cape Coral Parkway Nights
Cape Coral Parkway Nights spark up downtown with music, dancers, art, and great dining!
Whether you live here or are staying at one of Cape Coral's hotels, get on over to our attractive, tree-lined Cape Coral Parkway on the third Friday of the month from 6-9PM. I would try to get there early enough so you can see all of the entertainment before it gets too dark out. We listened to music from local bands and musicians, enjoyed free refreshments, and saw some nice crafts and artwork. Take a stroll with your family, friends, or out-of-town visitors and get to know the downtown area because there are some terrific restaurants, shops, and art galleries.

We parked behind Iguana Mia and walked through the Artists Dream Gallery, looked at the art and enjoyed some complimentary cheese and crackers ..... wine and other drinks were also served.

We then walked around and watched the dancers in front of Razzle Dazzle, and listened to some folk music in front of Big Johns Plaza.

Vendor booths were set up along the way, with merchandise and activities for kids.We grabbed dinner at Origins Coffee. I love their chicken salad and they have the tastiest Spicy Chai Latte I've ever had!

After you walk a block from Del Prado Blvd, cross the street and head over to Heart and Home for New England country style home furnishings and gifts. We then walked back to see what was new at Su Casa, the cutest furniture store that also has gift items, art, and accessories.

We then listened to some guys who were playing techno music that was pretty cool.Don't forget to walk over to SE 47th Terrace too, we heard music coming from there, and ended up listening to a teen band playing some good old rock and roll outside of Chicago Pizza. You might want to have dinner there, they have indoor and outdoor seating ....... or try Papa Joes, Iguana Mia, Morettis, Ciao, and Terraza 47. They all have terraces to watch people go by and to enjoy the weather. Wine and Roses, Rib City, Jimbos, and several other restaurants are all close to help it make a fun evening and to support our downtown merchants.
