Cape Coral Beach - Yacht Club Beach is where we go for sun, sand, and swimming!
Cape Coral has a nice sandy white beach on the Caloosahatchee River.
Because the beach is small, it is mainly a family beach, and therefore, we don't have problems with partying spring-breakers.
Our favorite months to go to the beach are March and November when temperatures are in the low 80's.
You can go jet skiing, boating, and fishing from Cape Coral's Yacht Club Beach because there's a boat launch at one end of the beach and a fishing pier at the other end.
By the way, the picture above at the top of my website, is of the Yacht Club Beach and I took it from the fishing pier.
The beach has a snack bar, KC's River Stop, that sometimes has live music playing.
I loved their skewered shrimp, they serve typical beach fare ..... burgers, hot dogs, and other kinds of sandwiches.
Besides the beach, Cape Coral Yacht Club also has a public swimming pool, a ballroom and beach pavilion for functions, tennis courts, and a marina.
You've got to go to the Sunset Celebration, which is the first Wednesday of every month.
It's a lot of fun to go to ......... have dinner at the snack bar, or bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the live music.
There are covered areas with picnic tables and grills, or just bring a blanket or your own chairs.
They also have tables set up with people selling crafts outside and in the pavilion.
