A Beach Wedding Ceremony is an affordable, yet romantic way to get married in Florida.
Yacht Club Beach has been the site for many Cape Coral weddings.You can get married right on the beach, use a grassy area just before the beach, or use the Yacht Club Ballroom. Or you may want to rent the ballroom for your wedding reception.
You can expect to pay around $200 for a basic wedding package which includes the ceremony with a wedding officiant, vows selection and cards, marriage license filing, and keepsake marriage certificate.
Add about $100 for a rehearsal and about $175 for a basic photography package. If you are getting married on the beach, please consider things like time of day and year. Will it be hot and will the sun be beating down on you and your guests? Will the ceremony be after sunset during the summer when there may be bugs coming out? Consider the best types of shoes for walking in the sand. Or go barefoot, put powder on your feet first so the sand comes off easily.
You may want to rent folding chairs, which run about $5 each, and for hot days, umbrellas for guests run about $5 each.There are, of course, many different ceremony packages and prices. If you want your beach wedding ceremony to be lots of fun, unusual, or just plain extraordinary; here's a website with some different beach wedding ideas. To get your license yourself, go to Lee County Clerk of Court. For marriage in Florida, both husband and wife must go in person together to the clerk's office in any county within the state to apply for a marriage license, which costs $93.50. Lee County's Clerk of Courts Recording Office is at the County Administration Building, 2115 Second St, Ft Myers. Or, you can get your marriage license by mail. This is a good idea if you are flying in just to get married in Florida and want to save time. There is nothing like getting married on a beautiful day at the beach with lots of sunshine and pleasant breezes, or as the sun sets with all the dramatic colors of the sky and water.
